Hi, I"m Nicole Ashby

...and I used to be stressed out, burnt out stay at home FIFO (fly-in-fly-out) wife and mum of 3 who transformed into being a recognised business leader and change maker, who was twice tapped on the shoulder to enter federal politics and went on to be a dual Telstra Business Woman Of The Year Finalist and a Telstra Business Of The Year finalist.  I'm also a dual winner of the prestigious WA (Perth), 40 Under 40 awards for business leaders.

I bootstrapped my first business, FIFO Families, back in 2010 and the heart of it was supporting other FIFO (fly in fly out) families around the country who were also struggling with a parent and/or partner working away for weeks at a time.

I had no idea about business, I'm a former secondary school teacher and manager, yet I went on to make a massive impact on Australia's mining, oil and gas industry and was able to assist some 15,000 thousand families across the country.

Part of my business journey was being thrown into the deep end of the media. With no previous media training, I went on to be a regular ABC radio commentator right across the country, was interviewed for The Project, 7.30, appeared multiple times on Today Tonight, all of the major TV news channels, The Australian, The Age, The West Australian,  The Courier-Mail, The Herald Sun... gosh, you name it, if it was FIFO related I was there in the media spotlight.

Back in 2013, I did 23 interviews in one week!  I have over 400 mainstream media interviews under my belt which means I now have an intimate understanding of how the media work, what they're looking for from small business owners and how we pitch, and when, to the media.

Since 2015 I have been focussing on assisting business owners tackle their marketing effectively with copywriting (specialising in direct response), media training and PR, and professionally mentoring women in business.

Marketing is now my cup of tea and my team and I are ready to help you with your business growth and strategy.
